It's available now, but you must enter your Park Pass park first and you can only hop to your second park after 2pm, subject to capacity. It's possible I may have missed a thread on this topic, sorry. But, you guys have any idea when we may get to use Park Hopper again?
A wise man once said...You can use park hopping now. You just have to scan into the first park before hopping to another park any time after 2 pm.
You can reserve any restaurant you like. The system does not check for a valid park pass. While on the topic of parkhopping, I have a related question: I know the Disney website now includes on each restaurant reservation page the words: "Valid Admission and Park Reservation for Same Park on Same Date Required," which would seem to apply irrespective of whether you have park hopper tickets. (In other words, if I have a park pass for Hollywood Studios and plan to hop to Epcot in the afternoon, I'm told I can't make a dinner ADR for Epcot.)
Has anyone run into this situation in real-life? Does the Disney reservation system actually prevent you from making that ADR in the park to which you plan to hop? If you can make the ADR but are unable to get to the restaurant due to your "hop-to" park reaching capacity, will the no-show fee be excused (or do you have to do the whole modify-to-more-than-24-hours-out/cancel rigamarole to avoid the cancellation fee, assuming that's still a feasible workaround)?
All the "new" rules are a lot to catch up on. Even though my family was just at WDW in February 2020, at which point I thought I was pretty up-to-date on everything, now every time I post on here I feel like I just walked into the Apple store in a leisure suit to ask the clerk where they stock the 8-track players.

My son’s park pass was for DHS and his family faced no issues hopping to Epcot for a dinner ADR.
Should the park you wish to hop to reach capacity (hasn’t happened yet AFAIK), the no-show fee will not be charged (although a visit/call to Guest Services may be needed to have it waived.)
Currently the loophole to move a same-day ADR into the future seems to have been closed. (Personal experience on trips in Nov and Feb.)
My guess is that with all the parks “at capacity” you likely won’t be able to hop. But that’s just my guess. First-hand knowledge would be useful or you could always call and talk to a CM who is probably just as knowledgeable as meHas anyone tried to park Hop this spring break week to another park that is at capacity? We are considering going from one park to Hollywood with the Hopper but I'm concerned as Hollywood is at capacity that they won't let anyone with Hopper in and it would be a waste to add.
