Hi everyone, first time long time! So in 2018 we are taking the kids for the first time, it's been a few years since heading down to FL, we will be there for a Saturday to Saturday trip. (we are staying at the beach club) I guess where I can't make up my mind is we want to go to a water park 1 time, what kind of passes should I be looking at? Can anyone help with this.

Both Saturday's are basically useless days because of flights so we can spend 6 days at "parks" and we are not leaving Disney world for another park.

How old are the kids? Beach Club's pool is basically a mini water park, so maybe that would be enough?

You would have the purchase theme park tickets, then choose park hopper option, then "add on" the park hopper plus. Assuming you plan to spend 6 days in a park, this will also give you 6 visits to the water parks.

I agree with @RememberWhen though. Beach Club has the most amazing pool and we used to take off entire afternoons from the parks to play on the pool because we couldn't get enough. There's a humongous slide, sand bottomed pools, mini waterfalls, etc. I don't think you'd be missing the water parks between that and theoretically spending one day at each of the four parks, and possibly repeating Magic Kingdom another day.

I would wait to add the water park option until you get there so you know the weather. We've spent a week at WDW when it not only rained every day but thunderstorms a lot of the day. The water parks close during the storms add in you travel time and you could have wasted 1/2 day plus the money

5 year old boy and 2 year old girl... I thought about that also, just staying at storm a long
With kids that young I wouldn't waste the time and money dealing with a water park. Especially staying at Beach Club. Just my opinion. Our 5 year old could spend all day at the boardwalk pool with the creepy clown slide. He could spend a week at Beach Club and never leave the water.
