Park Hopper Plus Tickets

This will probably seem like a stupid question to most, but I would like to clarify something.

If I buy a 6 day PH Plus ticket, it includes 3 "plus" tickets for the extra places. If on a particular day during my stay, I was going to use a Plus option for say Blizzard Beach, then would I also have to use a theme-park day?

Probably doesn't make sense the way I asked it.

Here is the deal: Going to be there for 7 full days, want to spend 6 days in MK, AK, Epcot & MGM, and want to spend a 7th day at a waterpark. On the 7th Day, I do not plan on visiting the main parks


Do I need the 6 day or 7 day Park Hopper Plus?

I think it is 6, but have never been to Disney.....

except for Paris, which was nice, but not the real thing....

You only need a six day hopper. The "plus" options are totally seperate. We had seven day hoppers and used them nine days--seven in the parks and two in the water parks. Still have two "pluses" left, which are good forever and we'll use up eventually.

I still might get the 7 day, because I added a day to our vacation when I booked the flights this morning...
