Park Hopper Plus option still work the same?

Can the plus admissions still be used on different days, even with the date based ticketing?

e.g.
2 Day Park Hopper Plus Ticket:
Day 1: Epcot and MK
Day 2: DHS and AK
Day 3: Typhoon Lagoon
Day 4: Blizzard Beach

Is this still possible? I understand the new expiration dates are more restrictive.

IF ticket only - a 2-day ticket has a valid use period of 4 days, when you have the Park Hopper Plus, it increases that by 1 day, to 5 days. In other words, you have 5 days to use all of the ticket options - and yes, they can be used on any days within that period.

If the ticket is part of a MYW package, the valid use period is the length of the package stay or the valid use period of the ticket, whichever is greater - so if the package stay is 8 days, you have those 8 days to use those tickets and options.

This is what I was looking for. Thanks for the great help @DisneyJoe!!!

I don't think you get 4 days of admission by adding the park hopper plus. A two day ticket is a two days worth of admission. With the park hopper plus you can go in and out of the 4 theme parks and 2 waterparks (WWOS, etc.) on those 2 days of admission. You have 14 days from the first date of entry to use that second day of admission.

Not since the change to multi-day seasonal tickets on Oct 16 2018. 2 Day tickets gives you a 4 day "valid use period" - so you must use the 2 admissions within those 4 days, but if you add the Park Hopper Plus option the "valid use period" increases by 1 day to 5 days. 14 days since first use changed on that day unless you pay a premium.

The OP is using 2 days of admission to theme parks in their example - and then 2 plus options - completely valid.

Wow - I am shocked they are giving you the option to essentially pass through the turnstiles on 4 different days with a 2 day ticket.

It's a park hopper - that gives you admission to any of the 4 main parks on 2 days only (MK, EP, DS, AK) and since it has the PLUS option - you get the plus options to go to water parks - and those can be used on the same days or different days. It has always been that way.

A 5-day ticket with the PLUS option gives you admission to the 4 main parks on 5 days AND 5 admissions to the plus parks for 5 days - basically 10 separate days if you want to do it that way - however, the valid use period is only 9 days - sorry! Thanks nickys)

I am thinking that you aren't familiar with the Park Hopper Plus ticket option?

I actually always get the Park Hopper Plus option - but we get tickets for our entire length of stay and do the waterparks in the morning and a theme park (or two) later in the day so it hasn't come up.

The Disney website you linked to indicates the it is based on the length of your ticket - I am not reading that as additional days (see in red):

Park Hopper Plus Option ‒ Enjoy Water Park Fun & More!
Park Hopper Plus Option ‒ Enjoy Water Park Fun & More!
Walt Disney World Resort has 4 exciting theme parks to explore—Magic Kingdom park, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And with the Park Hopper Plus option, you can visit multiple theme parks each day of your ticket!

Plus, you get a certain number of visits to other Walt Disney World fun based on the length of your ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits. For each visit, you can choose one of the following:
  • Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
This thrilling water park features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family.

  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
From fast waterslides to a children's area with pint-sized raft rides, this water park has attractions for everyone. Catch 6-foot waves or float on an inner tube down a lazy river.

  • ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
Discover world-class venues where sports dreams can come true for athletes of all ages.

  • Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
Enjoy a 2,913 yard, par 36, 9-hole walking course with fun for everyone, from developing golfers to experienced players. Greens fees only.

  • Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course
Play one round of miniature golf (prior to 4:00 PM) at a fun course inspired by the Disney classic film Fantasia.

  • Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course
Treat yourself to one round of miniature golf (prior to 4:00 PM) at either of 2 Santa Claus-themed courses.
All tickets and options are nontransferable and nonrefundable and exclude activities/events separately priced. One or more theme parks may be closed due to capacity, weather or special events. Water parks subject to rehabilitation, seasonal and weather closures. Tee times are required for Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course and are subject to availability. ESPN Wide World of Sports admission valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge; there are no events on certain days; days and hours of operation of concessions, venues and attractions vary. It confuses most people, and I am trying to find the most clear explanation, but there is also nothing that states that they must be used on the same days as the main park admissions.

The Important Ticket Details on the ticket purchase page says:

I selected a 2 Day Park Hopper Plus like the OP asked about and selected 1/1/2019 as the first use date. You can also pay an additional fee to get a 14-day usage period (like the old MYW Tickets had.

I appreciate your patience in explaining it - I want to make sure I am understanding correctly. So is this an actual allowable way to use the tickets:

Book a 5 day package at a Disney resort with a 5 day park hopper plus. Stay the 5 days hopping between the 4 theme parks. Move offsite for another 5 days and go to the waterparks only those 5 offsite days.

This is the clearest one I found:

Park Hopper Plus Entries are separate from Theme Park Days
The Park Hopper Plus Entries are totally separate from the theme park days on the tickets they are added to.
Think of them as two separate tickets in one. One with the number of theme park days purchased and a second with the number of Park Hopper Plus entries purchased.
Your Park Hopper Plus entries can be used on the same or different days as theme park days and can be used multiple times on the same day if you wish.

That would only work if you paid for the “flexible” option, allowing both the theme park and water park entries to be valid for 14 days from first use.

Otherwise, in your scenario (without the flexible option), the tickets would be valid for a total of 9 days: 8 days normal validity for a 5-day ticket and an extra day because of the PLUS option. You would have to use all your entitlements within 9 days from the start date of your package.

This is why I asked! It was always a confusing “secret”. I wanted to make sure it’s still this way. I found it easier to understand when they called it “Water Park fun and more” option.
