Park Closings?

I was wondering how often Disney Studios gets closed to incoming traffic. I will be there on New Year's Day and Touring Plans have that day ranked an 8 crowd level. Does anyone think it might close based on that information?

The Studios rarely close, so I wouldn't worry about it at all especially if the crowd calendar is only an 8.

New Year's *EVE* has a semi-high possibility of being closed to capacity at least at some point during the day. New Year's *DAY* not so much.

Side note: NYE is one of only two times each year that the public can see a fireworks show in the park (July 4th being the other).

If you mean closing on December 31st (New Years Eve) then there is a chance of closure. If you mean January 1st (New Years Day) then no, should be open as usual (and pretty quiet first thing as most guests will still be in bed after a late night letting in the New Year)
