You would be correct in saying EPCOT has a higher capacity than MK, but I'm not sure if EPCOT is higher than AK. Reedy Creek would know.

Epcot has mroe physical walkway space than AK, though AK is larger in total size with the safari and animal area.

So, Epcot can hold more people.

Theorhetical puts Epcot somewhere around 120k, but they don't let it actually get to that point, and MK is around 80k.

How could anyone think that MK could hold more people than Epcot.

It's mind baffling !

Hey, Merf, where does the Studios fit in the ranking?

Studios capacity was 42K when I worked there. Epcot is the highest. MK is second. I always thought AK was third until somebody on this board insisted that MGM actually has a higher capacity even though it is easily the smallest park land area wise (76 acres roughly.)

Was Lights, Motors, Action... built yet when you were there?

I would assume that since it opened the park capacity would have increased, since that land was only used as a tram ride before, not really people holding areas. Kinda like AK's safari areas.

Animal Kingdom is the largest park...but you have to remember that the savannah is a lot of that. The actual area for guest isn't that large.

The 125-acre Magic Kingdom parking facilities can accommodate 12,213 vehicles, all of which will be full by 10:00 a.m. Christmas Day.

The Magic Kingdom occupies an area of just 107 acres, while Epcot covers about 300 acres. That means that you could almost fit 3 Magic Kingdoms inside of Epcot!

The Magic Kingdom has the capacity for 100,000 guests, although Disney often will close the parking lots when 75,000 guests have entered the park, since the buses are still running.

It's from a website, so who knows?

LMA was under construction when I was there. Because LMA only performs three times a day, I highly doubt they upped the capacity of the park by 5000 for it. At 42,000 folks which was during the weeks surrounding Easter I saw waits at tower get up to 180 mins. It was insane in the park. I worked in Outdoor Foods which was fun as I got to be everywhere in the park. During a light day, wagons often wouldn't need to be restocked so I just walked around the park checking my wagons at a relaxed pace. During the capacity days, we couldn't get product and ice out fast enough. It was crazy.
