Park Attendence on Super Bowl Sunday

I will be in Orlando taking my kids to the resort this weekend. I am curious if anyone knows if the Superbowl (with the home team playing) will have any bearing on park attendance this weekend. If so, which park will it effect most? If there was one park that would be particularly dead due to the game then that is where I'd like to be. No lines=good day in my book!!

Chances are since kick-off isn't until 6:20pm (Eastern Time) there will be people visiting the parks during the day, but it shouldn't be crowded because this is supposedly one of the least crowded times of the year for WDW. You should be good to go at any of the parks.

I read somewhere else that you should try to do Illuminations on Sunday night. The poster had been to Epcot on previous superbowls and said that Epcot was dead that night. He further said that he had his pick of spots for viewing Illuminations which is very unusual. He also recommended the Magic Kingdom on Sunday and said that you're only problem was being outnumbered by cast members. That's a dream in my book. So that's our plan. We're heading to Magic Kingdom on Superbowl Sunday and then plan on taking in Illuminations that night.

Kennyj29 - PLEASE - stop yelling and give the lower case letters on your keyboard a chance to express themselves !!!!

In response to the thread, I don't think that the Superbowl will have any effect on park attendance.

I was there on Superbowl Sunday just this last year (2002) and it was DEAD! I think we went to Epcot if memory serves, but I'd be surprised if all the parks weren't that way. Can't speak for this year, but that's how it was last year.
Good luck to you!
