Paradise Pier to Entrance

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie to Disneyland...only have been there once way back in the early 90s. Well I coming to town to celebrate my parent's 40th Wedding Anniversary. We are staying at Paradise Pier. However, looking at the map it looks to be quite a distance to the park. My father is limited in mobility, so I'm afraid this might be a long walk. Are my fears warranted or is the walk really not that far? Thanks for all your help!

I've never stayed there entirely due to the walk. Many of the hotels on Harbor are much closer. If your Dad has mobility issues it may be too much. Just my opinion.

It's not extremely far away, but it's not close either. It's the furthest away, in terms of the onsite hotels. There are plenty of offsite hotels that are closer.

It isn't too far if you cut through the GCH lobby, but it is the furthest from the park entrances.

Is he planning on renting a scooter or wheelchair in the parks? If so, it is better and cheaper to rent one through Deckerts because then he can take it to the hotel with him and use it for the whole trip. The number is (714) 542-5607 or the concierge at whichever hotel you choose can help you. They will drop it off and pick it up at the hotel.

Cutting through the lobby of the GCH is the shortest route as Jenn mentioned. I feel the distance is no further than from the most distant DLH towers, but still is not a short walk.

Grand Californian is really the only hotel and on property that has a good proximity for walking. The Disneyland hotel is close to the monorail entrance which is nice especially when exiting the park.

About a 3-5 minute walk to the GCH entrance to DCA, 5-9 minutes to the Monorail

I still have pressed pennies I have to get from the PP Hotel. We just never made the walk over there because you have to walk down the street to get there.
