Over the past few days, I have noticed a lot of my rides aren't exacly perfect. One example was my Space Mountain. Neat, over a mile and a half long... and fun...
But there were problems. One thing is that I did not like the length. So I cut out a bunch of the boring slow sections and connected them to the faster more exciting sections. The ending was a little harsh so I also re-did that part and added 10 mph lift boosts so the trains travel faster through the blocks and brakes. But the biggest change was the launch. Now the trains travel to 65 mph and to my surprise the intesity did not go up, but the excitement did.
Other rides I redid parts of were BigThunderMountain which needed the train garage and shorten parts by the river.
I redid Fire Mountain completly using The Mummy at Universal as my insperation.
I redid the Haunted Mansion because it was too small compared to the real world version.
But the biggest renovation is Toontown. I used the actual plans I have in an Imagineering book and rebuilt the facades for Toontown. I also built fake hills behind the buildings to hid Space Mountain which is literally looming over Toontown.
Other "rehabs" currently planned for my Park are A bunch of Mainstreet Buildings, Buzz Lightyear (completly re-do the building), and the castle (the castle showed off at the Videogame board inspired me)
My other work right now is finishing in park vegetation as well as finishing the Adventureland Hotel which will be the only Hotel on the map. (Tommorowland Hotel and Downtown Disney are right off the map)
I still plan on getting this park done by next month but it currently looks like a no, because I will be doing extensive testing before resorting to the final released version. But all with RCT2, wait.
