how does one go about becoming a grand marshall of the parades?

geez.. I perform in the parades, and I personally have no clue. A lot of times they are preselected guests who are celebrating something @ WDW, or celebs/sprts stars/ disney legends who happen to be in the parks. I would assume on times that it isn't one of these things, it would be a guest selected in the morning by guest relations

that could work... the parades that have gran marshals presently are Share a Dream in MK and Stars and Motorcars in MGM. AK also has several guests is their parade

I think you just have to be in the right place at the right time. We were walking down Main Street asked a cast member to take our picture. When she finished, she asked if we wanted to do something special. I knew that meant be Grand Marshalls. The only problem was that our flight back to CT was at 4:00 pm. Oh well, maybe someday.

I just saw that question now.. geez I'm an idiot.

I'm a sub for tapestry of dreams, share a dream come true, and spectromagic (as well as MSEP, Xmas parade, and halloween parade) but I'm currently cast in stars and motorcars

Actually, since I knew we were leaving, I said to her "Don't tell me you want us to be the Grand Marshalls for the parade."
