So i was wondering, Are the floats currently used in Soundsational Parade using the bases from past parades (Like Parade of Dreams) ???

If I read right the "drum" floats(Aladdin, 3 Caballeros, Lion King, and Peter Pan) reuse bases from Celebrate! A Street Party(the four floats that had balloon Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy). Also the drum thing that Chip and Dale "push" Goofy on is from Celebrate! A Street Party, it was once the closing "push unit"

Fairly certain that Simba is from Parade of Dreams.

Makes sense nemofinder!

But the big floats in Soundsational look unlike anything in any previous parade. They are very customized, and in several cases they are articulated floats that have two sections traveling together; the Mary Poppins units, for example.

I suppose it's possible they reused some axles or wheel assemblies, or maybe some electric motors from previous floats. But the size and shape of the Soundsational floats tells me they were mostly custom built from scratch for this particular parade. Regardless, they are gorgeous to see in person! Pictures and video don't do this parade justice.
