Parade and entertainment schedule for October (Halloween!) in my Disney theme park

I now have my parade and entertainment schedule for October/Halloween in my proposed Disney theme park resort. As many of you already know, WDW holds Mickey's No-So-Scary Halloween Party on select evenings during October, which requires an separate special admission ticket in addition to the park entrance ticket. Disneyland has nothing like this or any of these festivities, save for Haunted Mansion Holiday! For my Disney theme park, especially for my "opening year" (or two), I will incorporate the Halloween festivities into the regular schedule and general admission ticket for the Magic Kingdom, or a Park Hopper ticket which enables guests to go back and forth between the Magic Kingdom and Disney Studios, my other theme park as of opening day or shortly afterward! Also, instead of having everything from 7pm-12midnight, I will spread out the Halloween festivities through the day, during select days in October. Tokyo Disneyland uses the very same plan I mentioned above for its Halloween celebration(s), and possibly Disneyland Paris as well (I think).

An example of Tokyo Disneyland's Halloween celebration can be found at the following URL's:
http://www.tokyodisneyresort.com/tdr/english/plan/schedule/tdl_show/st20041031.html
http://www.jtcent.com/temp/calendar.html

Here's what I have so far, using this year (2004) as an example:

October 1-25; Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday

Magic Kingdom:
3pm: Daytime Parade
7pm: Main Street Electrical Parade
8pm: Fantasmic!: This show will be presented, as usual, on the Rivers of America, with the main stage at the bottom end of Pocahontas Island; much like the original Fantasmic! which still runs at Disneyland. However, I added a seating area in front of the main stage, which would give us the best of both worlds! (Disney-MGM's Fantasmic! has a seating area whereas Disneyland's doesn't) Fantasmic! will also include the Peter pan segment on the Sailing Ship Columbia and the Grand Finale with all the characters from the show on the Lillian Marie Riverboat (named after Walt Disney's wife), doubling as the Steamboat Willie from the very first Mickey Mouse cartoon, Steamboat Willie (1928)!

8:50pm: Fireworks

Disney Studios:
2pm: Parade: not yet named, but similar to the Walt Disney Studios Paris parade, complete with the movie projector float in which Tinker Bell sits in front of the projector's lens!

8pm: Sorcery in the Sky Fireworks (which runs EVERY night!)

October 1-24, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday; and Tuesday October 26 through Sunday, October 31:
1pm: Daytime Parade
3pm, 7pm: Halloween Parade
8pm: Fantasmic!
8:50pm: Halloween Fireworks show
9:30pm: Main Street Electrical Parade
10:30pm: Fantasmic! (Friday only)

Disney Studios:
same as above October 1-28; the following schedule is used from Friday, October 29 through Sunday, October 31:
2pm, 5pm: Parade
8pm: Sorcery in the Sky Fireworks

October 1-24; Saturday:
3pm: Daytime Parade
7pm: Main Street Electrical Parade
8pm, 9:30pm: Fantasmic!
8:45pm: Fireworks

Disney Studios:
same as above, except for Saturday, October 30 (mentioned above)

In addition, on the select days Halloween is celebrated, other festivities are included; such as a special Halloween Riverboat Ride on the Lillian Marie Riverboat (departing from Frontierland), and trick or treating at certain hours during the early evening and night. Yes, even adults can dress up on these select days, preferably as one of their favorite Disney characters!

In addition, I also have Haunted Mansion Holiday much like Disneyland's, which runs every day throughout October! Haunted Mansion can be found in Carribean Plaza, which is part of Adventureland, and modeled after New Orleans Square at Disneyland.

Here are a few other parade and entertainment schedules I planned, at various, eventful times throughout the year!:

Memorial Day to Labor Day (Summer peak season, from late May to early September):

Magic Kingdom:

1pm, 3pm: Daytime Parade
8:45pm, 10:20pm: Main Street Electrical Parade
9pm, 10:30pm, 11:45pm: Fantasmic!
9:50pm: Fireworks

Disney Studios:
2pm, 7:30pm: Parade
9pm: Sorcery in the Sky Fireworks

December 1-Thursday before Christmas:

Magic Kingdom:

3pm: Daytime Parade
5:45pm: Fantasmic! (a 2nd showing of Fantasmic! runs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 9:30pm)
7pm: Christmas/Holiday Parade (not yet named)
7:50pm: Holiday Fireworks Show
8:30pm: Main Street Electrical Parade

Disney Studios:
2pm: Parade
7:15pm: Sorcery in the Sky Fireworks

In addition, The Magic Kingdom features it's a small world holiday during the Christmas Holiday season. Much like Disneyland's IASW holiday, the ride's exterior is decorated in multi-colored Christmas tree-like lights (the exterior of my IASW ride is similar to Disneyland's), and on the ride, some of the children sing Jingle Bells in addition to it's a small world!

April/Easter schedule, using 2004 as an example:

8pm: Fantasmic!
8:50pm: Fireworks

3pm: Daytime Parade
7pm: Main Street Electrical Parade
8pm, 9:30pm: Fantasmic!

1pm: Daytime Parade
3pm: Easter Parade
8:45pm, 10:20pm: Main Street Electrical Parade
9pm, 10:30pm, 11:45pm: Fantasmic!
9:50pm: Fireworks

8:45pm, 10:20pm: Main Street Electrical Parade

Wow! that's amazing you got it all planned out! woah!

oh and yes Paris also has that park-wide themeing thing goin for them during holidays.

Although it looks that the Studios is rather short on their night events with MK having both MSEP, Fantasmic! and the Fireworks.

I have this cool idea on a night show for the Studios:

It would start out at dusk and would take place in front of the Chinese Theater (assuming you have this in your park but if not, then myabe the central hub) It would begin with a girl coming in front of the theater and singing "The Sound Of Music" (the lyrics will be tweaked: "the streets are alive! with the sound of music!") And then sing about how she's waited all her life to make it to hollywood and such, There she'll find true love and fame and along the way meet some of the greatest characters in movie-making history and basically her dreams would come true all of which tied together by some of the most memorable songs from the most memorable movies of all time! heck we could even have Minnie Mouse play the lead This show would be accompannied by great lighting effects and dazzling costumes as well as great acrobatics

...just a suggestion ^_^

Very nice schedule, I think it would work out great and I like the idea of trick-or-treating in the parks. Do they offer this currently?

As far as I know, they still offer this at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in WDW's Magic Kingdom. Tokyo Disneyland offers this too, but they incorporated their Halloween celebration into the regular park schedule, instead of having a separate, ticketed event from 7pm-12midnight like WDW has.

Hope this answers your question! :D
