Panama Hats?

So, with the dress-up threads and all, I started thinking about hats. I haven't been to WDW in about seven years, but I used to always buy a Panama hat/straw hat/whatever you want to call it. If I'm going to get pounded by sun all day, a ball cap just doesn't do it for me. I want a brim all the way around.

I'm not a cowboy, so those are out. I have this one, but my wife says it's out of style.

I've looked online and I don't see any Panama hats at the Disney sites. Does anyone know if you can still buy these at WDW or should I look to buy one before going?

I'm not sure how much of a selection you'll find when you get to WDW, but if you want to shop beforehand you can find them online all over the place, with both women's and men's styles available. (Some retailers like J. Crew seem to be marketing them primarily to women, but they're still fashionable for anyone, particularly in a warm-weather setting. Just don't try to pair it with an 80's Hawaiian shirt and a Swatch watch...) ;)

Oh, yeah, I can find one, but I want a Disney one. On my other trips, I always bought one inside the MK. The hatband says WDW or MK or some such on it. Basically, they look like this, only with a Disney related hatband.

And they look great with not only Hawaiian shirts and Swatch watches, but with Members-Only jackets and Speedos. They're versatile.

My DW and I purchase and wore panama hats on our Disney-moon many years ago, I can't remember seeing any recently. I usually wear a ball cap and my DW has a safari hat she purchased at DAK a few years ago, what we used to call a "Jones hat" in the army, which she says is comfortable and does the job.

There are plenty inside WDW, but you're going to pay more than if you purchase before hand. I'm thinking about one of these also, but it has to pass my teenage daughter's "I'm not going to be seen in public with you in that" test.

See, this is why I started wearing these when my kidlets were younger. I bought one each time we went to WDW and then wore them for the DL trips in between. It's all about conditioning. By the time they got to be teenagers, they couldn't picture me any other way in a Disney park.

Great to know they still have them available. I know I could save and buy one now, but I'm a sucker for the WDW hatband. Thanks for answering!
