Just to clarify what I am pretty certain I already know but Disneyland Forever and paint the night are staying after the 60th ends in september correct? I know they haven't said it themselves but I thought this was without question.

Have not heard anything either way, but I hope so. These two shows are the first time in forever that I've wanted to brave the crowds to see a parade and fireworks show at Disneyland, they're both incredible shows!

Yes, they are both staying. Today's Disney would never ever ever greenlight a new parade and then ditch it after 18 months. PTN will be around for years.

Forever will also be around for years, just like Remember before it.

And just like Remember, Forever will likely go back to weekends/peak season only and not nightly just after the 60th ends this September. Just remember that nightly fireworks can't be expected forever at DLR... even if they are Forever and Remember.

Yes, both PTN and Forever will go to weekends-only in the off-seasons once the celebration is over. They sure wish they hadn't promised them nightly now!

With Fantasmic! down as well that means absolutely NO major nighttime entertainment in the park. I sure hope these cuts are saving them their money.

True, but Disneyland has never had nightly entertainment in the off-season beyond WOC, which is almost free to run. In the off-season on weekdays, DL has a day parade and that's it. It'd be nice to have PTN nightly as well, but I don't think anyone expects it because it's never been a thing here.

Ohhhh I feel like I should have known that as many times as I've been

No big! The 50th and 60th procedures of fireworks every night is a special thing that thus far DL has relegated to celebrations. PTN also badly needs some maintenance, so the parades team will be grateful when it goes down to weekends only for awhile.
