Paid up club/flying into tampa

Joined the paid up club for March. Im not thrilled that I have to fly into Tampa and renting a car. No Magical express! Flying out of New Orleans Mardi Gras weekend is twice as expensive into Orlando as normal. How is the drive from Tampa to Orlando? Does it go by fast? Scenic?

Done it many times, it is ok. The interstate can be crowded, once took me almost as much to make the drive to Orlando as it did to fly to Tampa from Indy (about 2.1 hours) but that was because of an accident. IF it is uneventful it should take about an hour, minus the que for the car etc..., give or take a few minutes. Have fun! Oh and definitely not scenic!

Florida is one of the most boring states to drive through. Take it from a native. The only scenic driving is in the Florida Keys.

We aren't Texas, but we are pretty boring for driving.

I suppose it depends when you're driving and what happens that day, but the going to and from Tampa isn't a long drive, really.

Thanks. I didn't mean scenic as pretty. I meant scenic as in open land/swamp or driving from suburb to suburb

Not a long drive, but not scenic either.
