So, excited. I paid the last payment today for our trip starting New Years Eve. I had to celebrate somehow. Since my son won't know about the trip until Christmas morning after his scavenger hunt I can't be excited with him so I thought I'd share my excitement here. The only thing left to do is book our Tomorrowland Dessert Party during our stay. If they will just release those dates that would be great.

Congrats! We're also surprising the kids... but we're leaving on christmas morning to go straight to the world. We made our last payment last week and it was a great feeling... so I'm right there with you!

Have fun!

Wish I could do a surprise trip but my daughter is 13 and I can't keep anything from her! Plus she is old enough that I like her helping to plan. But that would be the greatest Christmas morning. Luckily I get to experience the 2nd best Christmas morning because this year for the first time we will be there Christmas morning! Yeah!!!!

We've never been at this time of the year. I've heard it's packed but that with Epcot being the biggest it doesn't feel so bad. I really liked the idea of watching the fireworks go off over the countries as they would have celebrated the new year... (watch on Youtube, really cool). We don't plan on doing much but going to dinner in Germany and then finding a place to sit and watch the fireworks. I'm sure will walk around and take some pictures but I'm not going to try and deal with the lines for the attractions well maybe Test Track. We will be doing Epcot again during our stay so no big deal. It was just important to me that we start the new year in a magical way in a magical place. I have always wanted to see the parks at Christmas... I am a gemologist and work for a jewelry company. Christmas is the busiest time of the year for me. I will only have 2 days off from Nov. 15 to Dec. 31st (Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). I try to take my son on a trip either in Oct or in Jan so that we can reconnect... it's hard on both of us with me being a single Mom. Thank goodness for fabulous Parents/Grandparents. What better way to connect.
