Paddlefish

Any reviews on Paddlefish. Ate there when it was Fulton’s but haven’t since the redo. Made reservations for our trip in May. Hoping is as good as Fulton’s was.

Just my opinion..but NO. We ate there in December. It's a beautiful restaurant but that was about it. When we were seated we were given a lunch menu instead of a dinner. Out waitress had to go down 2 flights to get us a menu and then didn't tell us of any specials or anything while other waiters were selling it. The appetizer was great..thankfully. When out dinners arrived mine was luke warm and my husband's was cold and the fish was raw. When we finally found a waiter (to go get our waitress) she just looked at us like a deer in the headlights. Said nothing. We ended up sharing my entree. The manager did come over and apologize and said there was no excuse, etc. etc. Of course, he coped the entree and offered us a dessert...we just wanted to leave. The table behind us also send a sandwich back......tells you something. We won't go there again. Fulton's was way better.

Our group of 5 had lunch in mid December (2017) with no problems. Had their version of a New England Clambake that proved to be more than excellent. The wait staff was more than attentive and fulfilled all of our needs promptly and did not appear to be put upon while serving us. I would recommend this as a fine place to try during your visit. However, the 'Empress Lily' it is not. That experience is long gone. As a side note - the water-wheel does not work - it is strictly an ornament. The wheel did turn, very, very slowly when it was the 'Empress Lily'.

Never went to Fulton’s, but had a great time at Paddlefish some time last year. It’s in one of my TR’s.

We were not starving, so just got several appetizers and drinks. All very good. Waiter was fantastic as well as entertaining.

We ate here on NYE & I haven't been since it was the Empress Lilly. Our server was a personal friend and we got a discount on our meal. I'm not sure if I'd pay full price to eat here again but the food was VERY good. We had the Lobster corn dogs, shrip/grits, catfish & the Chocolate-Bourbon-Pecan Tart with the candied bacon was to die for.

Our group of 3 had dinner there in July and we all enjoyed it very much. We are planning to go back on our next trip this July.
