I usually drive so just for me I usually have two bags with me and don't have to worry about baggage fees on airlines. If you fly there is a way to get all the clothing you will need for your trip in one carry on bag. Felecia day posted a link to a video of a guy that shows how to pack a carry on bag with enough clothing to last you your entire trip.
