Package or A La Carte?

Hi everyone,

This is my first time on this forum so please forgive if this has been asked. I am hoping we will be heading back to WDW Oct 2013 for our 2nd trip. Should I book a package and hope for the free dining for then or should I go with a room only for now and see if they have a percent off dsct?

Wanting to stay at Contemporary with dh and 3 kids (12,10,6)

I would definitely book room only. If discounts are offered for while you're there the odds are the savings will pay for your food and then some.

Firstly welcome to the boards!! We always book a package, then whatever discounts come into play, we take advantage of them, if we can. When room discounts or free dining is announced, weigh out the price difference, see what works best for you and your family. The best advice I can give is, dont book your vacation in hopes of a room discount or free dining. Best to plan your family's vacation, then consider any savings, as pixie dust
