Hey all. My girlfriend and I drink a ton of water on these trips and discussed going to the local Hess station near DTD like others have suggested. HOWEVER I looked over at my faucet and thought "why not just unscrew the brita filter and throw it in my bag?"

Anybody ever done this? Am I a genius or am I missing something lol?

Absolutely do it!!

I'm from Colorado and any other states tap water is DISGUSTING! We have water bottles delivered to our room (we have no need for a Brita Filter here) because FL tap water is so bad!

Definitely pack it up with a new filter :D

nice. Minthorne good ideas as well. I just figure the thing is small enough to add to luggage without worry and we're in the room loading up on water all the time especially in the morning

Good idea! Have you thought about getting a camelbak to wear in to the parks that you can fill with water in the room? My husband, myself and our kids all have them for trips and they work out great.
