Pack 'n Play, anyone have a picture/

Hi,

Does anyone have a picture of the Pack 'n Play used at the Disney hotels?

We are looking at the Beach Club and states Pack 'n Play or crib.

My daughter will be 14 months and want her to be comfortable for the 2 weeks we are there.

I have not seen the pack n plays there but I have at 2 other hotel/resort places. They were all white and were steel looking.
If you do use it, bring your own blankets/sheets from home for a familiar surrounding/smell for your little one. It will be more comfy and may help with better sleeping.

We didn't have a kid at the time so we didn't use it, but this is the pack-n-play that was stored in the closet in our 1BR villa the Boardwalk Villas back in 2005.

So probably just your typical standard looking pack-n-play.

We have used the pack n play before and it is te most basic model. I think it was a graco brand, but I remember thinking there wasnt much padding. We brought our own sheets and blankets. But our son was so tired everyday he probably would sleep anywhere.

We used the hotel issued one waaaaaay back when Princess #2 was about 18month old; there was plenty of room and she slept like a log each night, bring your own blankie/comfy that she uses every night and she should be ok.

We got cribs on two occasions and they are small compared to the one we had at home but the mattress was good. I would go with a crib. We brought our own sheets and blankets and all that and believe me they passed out!

Where did you stay that you had a crib? We stayed at AKL and it was a pack n play..which worked out fine, my son would sleep anywhere..Now that I think about it there may have been a crib available we just went with this option for space?? hmmmmm, now I can't remember..I need to start thinking about next trip though..he's gonna be 18 months and probably weigh 35lbs (he's 15 months and sitting at 28lbs now)..so a crib might be more comfortable

You have to put a crib on your room request or you can call housekeeping and see if there are any available. I have been able to get a crib at the Boardwalk and BLT.
The Disney pack and play comes standard in resort rooms and like others said is the basic Graco model. They do provide a sheet but I also recommend bringing familiar bedding from home.

We once were at the Dolphin and another time at the Grand Floridian. I know you can also rent them through an outside source. I didn't realize at the time that so few resorts offer them. I was helping a friend book and she tried to get a crib at the Beach Club and the Wilderness lodge and was out of luck! I dont know, when we booked both times we requested a crib and it was in the room when we got there.

I thought they were okay, but they are definitely smaller than the ones you can buy commercially. My twins were 10-months old when they used them and they were noticeably smaller than the ones we had at home. If you end up having to put bedrails on the bed, Disney's are higher and much sturdier than what are sold in stores. We found that worked out really well.
