P.I., new "celebration", and more

I'm assuming there should be an announcement most likely in mid-end of July on P.I. And if anyone tells you that they know what's happening, they're full of it, because it hasn't even been decided...

Also, RRBC is still empty... odd...

The next marketing "Celebration" has been decided, and those that complain that there's always some marketing gimic will be happy. It's no Year of a Million Dreams or Happiest Celebration. It's as close to normalcy (is that a word?) as can be. And when you hear the name, tell me what YOU will be... (you'll get it when you see it).

When did the whole boat captain thing start? It used to be bus drivers, then monorail pilots... how about we just start saying "are you a front line CM?"... I think that would cover our bases much quicker than using a different role each year...

Maybe during the second year of this campaign, they can expand to the "Year of a Million Disney Film Pals." "I'm Woody."

What will YOU be? Sounds like Guests may get to "become" a character (like a pirate or a given princess...kind of like now) or a citizen of Main Street, Hollywood, Frontierland, etc. That would be interesting. We'll just have to wait and see. thanks for the tip. :wave:

I can hear the new promo now:

"Last year we gave away millions of dreams, this year, be part of the dream at Disney Parks where you could be chosen as a CM for a day!"

Disney gets happy guests to be non-paid CM's.

"Well we see here you want to work at either Tower of Terror or Haunted Mansion for the day, but all we have is the turkey leg stand."

In reality though, I agree it must be something dumb like "oh you wanna be a pirate, heres a free pirate hat, live your dreams".
