The Plaza and 1900 Park Fare are the meals we pay for OOP. The Plaza is priced closer to what I would pay for a meal at home and for a buffet 1999 Pqek Fare is probably the least expensive option, breakfast in particular. 1900 Park Fare food quality isn't anything extraordinary but it has great character interaction. The Plaza is avg food but it's feel good food and dessert. We are on DDP for all our longer trips, and the rest of the family loves CRT. That is a 2 credit meal, so we end up being down at least one TS meal. Either of these are the cheapest for TS.

Well Ive done quite a few TS where I had to use my wee Scottish credit card,:( My favourites were Jiko & Cali Grill for both different reasons.Jiko had the awesome Fillet with mac & cheese & awesome wine pairings, great theming with the walls changing colours, and night vision glasses which had my DS checking out the wildlife. And Cali Grill for its awesome Sushi starter, great steaks, lovely wine, and a Wishes firework display,oh and our Dolly Parton lookalike server.;) She was over the top,or top over. I asked her what her hours were? She said from 9.00 till 5.00.

Speaking of Cali Grill, I can't wait to see the new menu

For us it's pretty general... we pay out of pocket for whatever meal is cheapest or has the potential to be. If we are doing 4 buffets and one menu meal, we'd usually pick the menu meal for our out of pocket item. If everything we're doing is buffet/family style/one price per person I look up the prices and pick whatever ones are cheapest. Obviously this is only if we go outside of DDP credits (which we TRY not to do).

Probably bluezoo. I don't think it's better than Flying Fish for food, but is has the best lounge on property. The best lounge on property. The. Best. Lounge. On. Property.

So, combine that with what is a very good seafood restaurant with a creative, constantly evolving menu, you have yourself a fantastic restaurant. And, it's not on the dining plan, so you don't really have the choice but to pay out of pocket.

Oh, did I mention the lounge?

We pay for any of the 2-credit experiences and restaurants out of pocket, even if we're on the dining plan. (Unless the price is double the cost of dining at a good 1-credit restaurant -- and none of them are -- they don't make good economic sense.)

The same goes for table service lunches, which don't cost enough to merit using a TS credit.
