We had a brilliant time in December last year, although two things threatened to spoil it. Firstly was that complete waste of technology called Magic Bands and the other was that equally useless Fastpass+ system. We lost a lot of park time trying to get them to work with staff who were unsure what to do. We had grief trying to link one thing to the other....and they only really worked properly the last full day we were there.
We have had time to sit down and mull over the situation and have come to a decision. We will not consider coming to WDW this year, because we don't want to spend hours in each park's Guest Relations office to put right everything that's wrong with them.
Of course, there is a work and money thing here and to make WDW '14 would have been a bit of a strain, but not impossible to do. But that time with MB and FP+ has been enough to tilt the scales and we have come to the reluctant decision not to come to the World this year, perhaps leaving it for 2015 when hopefully they have worked out the bugs to this farcical system (hopefully scrapped this thing altogether).
