Pre-Trip Our second Christmas vacation in Walt Disney World!

Well the unbelievable has happened and after not visiting Walt Disney World in a quarter century we will be going home for a second within the same calendar year.:):D

Now as to who is going this time:

There will be me 41 (Jeff), DD 12 (Evelyn), my parents (Al & Ruth) and my daughters friend Elanor also 12.

We will be staying in a family suite at All-Star Music from December 10-17, 2015. We stayed at ASMusic on our last trip over the Christmas/New Years week in 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We have 7 day tickets with park hoppers and will be using the Dining plan.

Today is our 180 day mark and I was up bright and early at 6 am to book our ADR's and I am happy to say that everything went smoothly and I was able to book everything I was hoping for except for one day.

So for now things are looking like this:

Thursday December 10th..... Chefs de France at 5:40 pm

Friday December 11th..... Boatwrights Dining Hall at 5:00 pm followed by a boat ride to DTD for some shopping and the 9 pm Cirque de Soleil (hopefully).

Saturday December 12th..... California Grill 7:20 pm

Sunday December 13th..... Cinderella's Royal Table 4:25 pm followed by MVMCP.

Monday December 14th..... Beaches and Cream 2:00 pm

Tuesday December 15th..... Hollywood Brown Derby Fantasmic Package 3:50 pm

Wednesday December 16th..... Boma 6:25 pm

I was really hoping to go to Sanaa but the times available were too late for my liking. I also tried searching for a coveted breakfast ADR for Be Our Guest (mostly to get into the park early and walk through an empty MK) but so far nothing is showing up. I will keep checking on a semi regular basis to see if I can luck into something, but having had lunch at BOG on our last trip its not a priority.

Well its only 120 days until FP+ booking opens up, so hopefully the time will fly by and we will soon be on our way to the airport and flying home for another magical trip.

Have fun! It took me a while to snag an ADR at Sanaa, but I'm sure you'll get one before your trip, as well as BOG breakfast. I'm so looking forward to BOG dinner! :hungry:

I am happy with Boma, but I always eat way too much at buffets to make sure I get my monies worth:happy:. While snagging a ressie for BOG would be nice, I did eat there one and had a chance to look around the inside. The biggest plus to me is that a breakfast ADR at BOG makes for a cheap way to gain early entry to MK and enjoy some time in a near empty park.

Yay! So glad you're able to get back again this December. We went this past December about the same week and LOVED it!

If you can find a 5:00 Sanaa - that worked perfectly for us. But Boma is amazing, too. It's really win win. :)

Can't wait to see what else you plan.

Yes, too many buffets are not good for the waistline, but hey, that's what vacation is all about, right?

I have a feeling that the BOG early breakfast ADR will soon be known as the BOG EMH! :cat:

To add to the excitement I just purchased tickets to MVMCP for Sunday December 13th:happy:. Its going to make for one magical day being able to end our day at the party after enjoying dinner at CRT.

I thought I would give a little update as things have evolved and I have been able to switch around some reservations.

I have purchased tickets to La Nouba for the 11th of December. Both my DD and her friend have always wanted to see a live Cirque de Soleil show and with the 11th being a MVMCP I thought it would be a perfect night to take a boat ride to DTD or Disney Springs (not quite sure what to call it) for a little shopping after dinner followed by the show.

I have also been able to snag an ADR at Sanaa for 5:30 pm on our last day.

Now that the Candelight Dinner Processional dinner packages have been released I was able to switch our first night dinner at Chefs de France for a CDP package at the same restaurant. The only time available is about an hour earlier than our original ressie making it a little tighter to get to the park after our flights land and we are able to check in.

Our flight lands at 1:00 pm. I am not sure if we will have enough time to get there or not.
