Our PhotoPass - getting the best quality/value

Hi all!
We bought the PhotoCD and got all of our pictures on the CD, which is great.
I am wondering about ordering prints.
If I order them from the Disney site, are those going to be the best quality? (As opposed to taking the file from the CD to a local photo place)
In other words, does Disney store the best/biggest resolution photo, making their own prints the best possible? Or is it the exact same photo they send me on CD? (In which case, would be cheaper, but just as good of quality, to have printed anywhere).

I don't think Disney uses any higher-quality processing than you can get at your local CVS.

I use Kodak Gallery online, and I am very happy with the quality of the prints I get for 10 cents (4x6) or 89 cents (5x7) vs. Disney's $12.95 for a 5x7!!

Do be aware, though, that if you put special effects such as borders on your photopass pictures, they are formatted specifically for a 5x7 print. If you make 4x6 prints, some of the border will be cut off.

Photos that you haven't bordered, or photos with the character signatures, or the characters waving from the corner, usually come out fine in 4x6. It's just the full-frame borders that are a problem. Even if I order them with the "zoom & trim" turned off, sometimes those borders get cut off.

If you bought the CD, for gosh sakes don't pay their crazy prices to have pics printed.

Your local drugstore or other prefered photo developer will do just as great a job - for about 5% of the price.
