Thirty years ago this fall, our family (w-me as patriarch) , began our family trips to WDW. Every odd year, from 1989, we would fly delta to Orlando, rent a mini van from National, grocery shop at Goodings (regardless of over price), and set up base camp at the Vacation Villas (lakefront of course). 3 kids, 3 spouses, and 6 grandkids later, 14 of us will celebrate the big anniversary this October. We 62nd picked our timeframe to avoid the Star Wars opening, but have a chance for M & M runaway railway!! Well, scrap plan A', no problem, the grandkids are young and haven't shared a WDW adventure yet!!! ...........but dammit C'MON!!! DHS is a mere shell of its original glory!! From a brilliant bustling park to a half a day itinerary filler attraction!!?? With this sad effort to try and keep up with the Jones'(aka-Universal), you've methodically gutted then failed to respond in this pathetic attempt to stay relevant. TGMR was great, the backlot tour was awesome, then the non existent ride attraction growth until toy story land has me just a little bummed......oh well, it's still going to be great!!! SEE YOU ALL DOWN IN FLA in a few!!!
