Will they to (sic) much what ? Be too hot ? Wear or rub your feet/ankles/calves?

Its all subjective. I have and still wear calf high boots every day during summer months, but I'm acclimatized to temperatures above 100 (thats 37+ for the old world)

I'm no foot doctor but they look like they will be very hot. Average temps for early Sep. in Orlando low 90's ground level on all that concrete is probably hotter. Good pair of socks may help. I can remember my time in Vietnam wearing jungle boots my feet were never dry.

You don't have any orthopaedic insoles you can substitute for those boots for the three weeks you'll be there?

what do you mean by powder will certainly help though.

If you have to wear these boots, with no other choice, then I'm not sure why you posted. A lighter, breathable (non leather) shoe, rather than a boot would be preferable in the Florida heat and humidity. Your feet will be very hot and sweaty. Hence the recommendation for powder- foot powder. If you don't know what it is, ask your local chemist. It helps absorb moisture and prevent foot fungus. Just as, or perhaps more important, are the socks you wear. They need to be absorbent. Cotton or merino wool. And bring an extra pair or 2 with you in your day pack and change them when they become soaked with sweat. You'll need to be meticulous with cleaning and drying your feet each night to prevent fungal infections if you insist on wearing these boots.

If they are fine for you to wear in heat at home and you tolerate them well enough then go with them. But I'd also pack something else as a back up just in case you find blisters or irritation starting with these. I do see others in the parks wearing similar high top boots and other styles that I'd rather not be wearing.

Following is all amateur advice from a former backpacker...
Famous backpacker Collin Fletcher was known to use pack boots in the US DESERTS. Yes, lighter sport shoes WOULD be far better...
but you need these.

So some "backpacking tips" might be in order. Can you carry a change of socks, daily? This would help, as your feet WILL get hot.
Moleskin & a little pair of blunt nose scissors, for developing blisters (felt as "hot spots") would be a plus. REST of body? Shorts, very light shirt.

Now one thing.... are those boots insulated? It sort of looks like they are, in the photos. If they are? Sorry - you need something else :(.

Insulated too? If you plan to wear those in August, you will die. Like, spontaneously combust. 🔥

Seriously though; if there's no other choice - there's no other choice. I'd try to get inserts for sneakers or something though. Even if it's not what you normally use, just to get you through the day.

I wear hiking boots on most every trip I take I find hiking boots to be more comfortable if I'm going to be walking a lot. I've worn black boots in Florida before and it wasn't that big of a deal. The only thing you have to do if you are wearing boots, is to make sure they are broken in well before you use them.

Now the only problem you might have is that your boots will get hot if you stand in the sun. If you can get some desert boots you would be more comfortable as they will be light and have mesh areas that will keep your feet a little cooler... but I've even worn sold black boots in the heat and I didn't burst into flames. Just hit the parks like EPCOT earlier or later in the day as it tends to be the one with the least amount of shade and that's where your boots will start to heat up.

Do you have to wear them all the time or could you wear them only at night while vacationing? My DD wears a back brace for scoliosis 22 hours a day, but she only wears it while sleeping when we are at Disney, because it’s so hot to wear. Her Dr. is fine with this while we vacation. Is it possible to wear insoles in other shoes for part of the day?

the Insulated is the padding that is stability in them to hold ankles/feet in right place
all the padding is not thick in side and back but is vary thick in Tounge and coller of the boots
No clue what type of medical problem you are dealing with... but you might just ask your doctor what exactly you are trying to accomplish with the boots and whether any other options exist for doing that, given you have concerns about wearing the boots on a trip. It may even be possible to find something on your own that does the same thing. start with your doctor and just find out the level of immobilization your ankle needs. From the photos the boots don't look like they are providing complete locking of your ankle like a ski boot so maybe any boot laced up tight enough would work in which case you might find a combat boot made for the desert that would work for you though they would be cooler and usually come in a light knacki color.

I have server flat feet and weak ankle and I cant use footwear in the shopping because of this so all boots have to made to order by the hospail as ankles bend to much in my case even with me insoles in
the boots and insole help me walk with being in pain and the boots don't looking it but there is a lots support in them to help hold ankle in the right place
