Orlando...Most dangerous place to walk

I just read today that the surface transportation policy project a non-profit group works to ensure transportation policy and investments, help conserve energy, protect the environment, strengthen the economy, promote social equity and make communities livable. They have come out with a report today that lists Orlando as "the most dangerous place to walk in.

Fort Lauderdale/Miami is right behind Orlando! Nobody walks here. Driving home from work today I could see why we're ranked so high. You wouldn't believe the number of idiots just walking out into traffic.

I agree! Besides the tourist sites like WDW property, SeaWorld, Universal and International Drive, I didn´t see many sidewalks or street lights!

Out where I live there is a City called Pomona
it says it is in the top 10 as worst places to walk
I am in So. California

omg it aint that bad, just walk around Pointe Orlando, or Downtown, or even I-Drive, there are plenty of sidewalks and lights, there has been a lot of construction down there so it has all improved, if walking isnt your cup of tea, take Lynx (our version of the bus) it's cheap and easy, or just do it the easy way and rent a car!
