I really like the Belle's village part, the castle looks good, hope the trees don't obscure it in the future. It reminds me of the Norway pavilion, which is fine by me as I like this part of Epcot.

I kinda don't like it that the Mermaid facade clashes with the Beauty and the Beast inspired part. Also, Prince Eric's Castle looks more like something out of Aladdin, than what was in the Little Mermaid, as there is a lot of dirt colored rockwork with little green, makes it look like the desert, and just palm trees. I don't really remember exactly what Prince Eric's castle looked like from the film, though I think it had more green and that you couldn't tell that the towers were made out of cinder blocks!

The castle looks like it was built on a desert island that only has a couple of palms trees and a lot of dirt . . .

I posted a link to what I think is what Prince Eric's castle is supposed to look like,

Be Our Guest Restaurant Facade: A+
Belle's Village: A
Little Mermaid Facade: C
Seven Dwarfs Coaster Facade/Landscaping: ?? Based on the B&B area, could look pretty good on the outside, and this is encouraging despite the fact that I wish it would have more dark ride scenes.

While I agree that the rockwork could use a little more green at the top - I totally disagree about the castle - it's a castle and what are castles typically made of?...large cut stones! Might as well just plaster over the stone work on Cinderella's castle!

yes, you're right about the desert feel. They should add a little more green/blue in there.

Wow I love the detail in the buildings! I, like so many others have said, still can't get past the rocks. It feels so "Frontierlandy" but y'know I'm sure once it's open and you see it from the ground it will be totally different.

I am pretty sure that is the same video from a few days ago....but I am def excited anyways

It is the video that was floating around last week from the press event, albeit a better quality copy than was first posted.

That area looks stunning. From what I've read on the thread about the pathway and plaza from Liberty Square to Fantasyland, that will be equally detailed and brilliant. If you don't know what I'm talking about, read page 7 of this thread ...
