Orlando Airport Question

On Wednesday I am leaving for the World.

We are going to be meeting my fiancee's parents there, who are flying out of Milwaukee, WI (We are flying out of Minneapolis, MN).

Our baggage claims are not the same...meaning we have Baggage claim A and they have B. According to the maps of the airport, we'd have to go down a flight to the baggage claim, and then back up, over the road, and down to theirs.

My question is:

Will we be able to do this? I mean, do we pass through the security checkpoints on the way to the baggage claim, and if so how could we meet up with her parents? We are having a towncar pick us up, so if we were all in one place it would be easier.

I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out exactly where the security checkpoints are....if we can get our luggage, go up into the main area, and then down to theirs, that would work great?

Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

as far as i know the security checkpoints are only before the trains that take you to the gate areas! so really there isn't any near the baggage claims on both A and B!

and as for a meeting point you could either meet them just after they get off the train past the security area or the food court!

either this helps or i'm talking dribble!

I am leaving wed too!!! :sohappy: When I was their in January of this year the checks are before the trams, but you are only checked if you are getting on the trams to go to the terminal. YOu should not encounter a problem just getting to the main floor. Good Luck, I know how confusing it is meeting in a strange place. :sohappy:
