When did the "Original Poster" designation come into being? It seems new.

And what are the rules for being designated an orginal poster?

Within the past week. If you start a thread, when you post later in the thread, you will be identified as the "original poster" (thread starter). You should see it if you respond to me.

Hmm. OK. I wondered about that. I thought maybe it was for the people who were around in the beginning, since the folks I saw with it last week were people who had been around a while; but I wondered because some were newer than I was but had that designation when I didn't. I thought maybe that "Premium Member" had superceded it.
