Ordering Magic Band with expired AP

For some reason I was able to customize and order a Magic Band even though my annual pass expired in early January. Anyone else experience the same "issue?"

Mine expired back in November, don't see anything on my MDE account other than the RFID card.

Mine expired in Dec. I only see the RFID card.

I renewed but I haven't exchanged the voucher yet. I was able to order the band and now have it and the benefit card.
