Opinions about ruining the surprise factor

I'm torn and thought I would throw this out there for opinions. The last time I was at MK the Fantasyland expansion was still being done. I purposely avoided finding out what they were changing for reasons I won't bore you with. But now I am planning a trip in October with a friend who has never been to MK. I'm someone who is a bit obsessive about planning things. And I'm torn between finding out what was done, and everyone's opinions about them, and just waiting to be surprised.

I have another question that I think I already know the answer to. We're staying at Coronado. There isn't a way to arrive at MK through the ticket and transportation without driving your own vehicle is there? That's the only thing I don't like about staying on property. Part of the experience for me is riding the tram to the ticket center, and being able to ride the monorail to the park. I think it would be for my friend as well.

Opinions...anyone? Bueller? :)

I think you could know the basics of NFL without ruining it for your self. Just knowing there's "this or that" but not knowing exactly what "this or that" are can help you plan without spoilers.

You would have to drive to the TTC or bus to Epcot then hop on the monorail. Honestly, I'd stick with the bus. If you want your friend to experience the monorail, maybe you could have a meal at one of the monorail resorts first then take it to MK.
