I just wanted to know everyone else's opinion on Tommorowland in the Magic Kingdom. I personally love the idea for aliens and robots living together in Tommorowland, but many of the elements that create that story have been taken away. Opinions?

Get rid of SGE, Speedway, move Laugh Floor to Pixar Place at DHS. Then add new attractions into those spaces and get rid of the teen pop dance party crap. Use fresh paint throughout the entire land and I think we have a great area.

I like this but wanted to add an idea to move CoP to Epcot inside a rejuvenated WoL pavillion as the centerpiece of a broad based technology/future lifestyle theme...moreso than Innoventions. With what PUSH put forth and this addition it would require a MASSIVE renovation of Tomorrowland and this is totally unrealistic to expect but it could open up a re-imagined Tomorrowland. I would introduce a Tron-esque coaster in place of Tomorrowland Speedway (TTA would pass through part of it) and maybe some sort of Wall-E simulator in place of either MILF or SGE.

An idea occurred to me to have a hybrid coaster in that part of it would be slow moving and part could be coaster. THAT would be totally cool and with all of the real estate available where TS is it could be done. Even cooler would be if they could use mag-lev technology for the slow moving portion followed by more traditional coaster tech...oh man I am in my happy place!

Kill Stitch and Laugh floor, keep the speedway. Add something that actually feels futuristic, not something that's just based off of Non-humans

need to keep the speedway. that is one ride my kids ask to go one every single time. our youngest is now 14 and they still enjoy it. it we are doubling up they fight over who is driving. I would like to see it futurized. come up with futuristic cars and revamp the track and it would be way cool!!cd

I'm sorry, but NO! I love the current architecture, it looks so cool. The real work simply needs to be done on the attractions. Get rid of SGE (please bring back AE), move Monster Inc to DHS, bring back old TTA spiel, update COP and Speedway, give SM a more proper udate, put a worthwhile attraction in the place of the Galaxy Palace theater and tomorrowland will be perfect.

I physically cringed when I read the last option. What would Magic Kingdom be without Tomorrowland!?

Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris works fine in my opinion :) Although as of 2006 it is becoming more Tomorrowlandish with the addition of Buzz not really fitting the theme.

The gas engine smell and noise always kills the theme for me as "Tomorowland Speedway" always seems very 70's to me. It is fun for many and I don't have a problem with it's existence but rather it's location being a buzzkill for the overall theme of Tomorrowland in general.

Which is exactly why you upgrade it to electric motors

I agree with most that the TTA needs to go back to the old voice over, as of right now it doesn't even explain Walt Disney's vision of the future model, and instead skips over it making it seem like a random model. I don't think this counts as part of TL, but the Noodle Station needs to be open all the time or replaced, as it really makes the park look bad to have such a large, empty space. I understand the nostalgia with the speedway, but it really isn't needed anymore, but it is better than SGE and the Monsters Inc. thing. They should try to run more with the retro future theme, as there seems to be untapped potential.

I actually forgot that was there. So in addition to my other post, I say it needs to be transformed into a new quick service restaurant. I believe I've seen this open two or three times in my 11 trips to the World.

Agreed, it definitely needs a redo at this point, but the taco/nacho counter service between adventure and frontier land is also barely open, but at least that doesn't get in the way. I don't get why they have places that are rarely open (and I've been to WDW in all seasons and the Noodle Station has yet to be open [other than around then years ago] so it doesn't seem to be a seasonal thing either).

Could the Tron coaster fit anywhere besides The Space Mountain bulding?I don't think it could fit in the Stitch building.

Defiantly not the Stitch Building. The only way I can see it fitting is where the raceway is, But I feel that is too iconic to replace

If they convert the cars to electric motors, I have no problem with it. I just think the smell and noise of it is insanely annoying.
But converting the motors costs money, so TDO will probably not do it
