opinion of Old Key West? And a "what would you choose?" question

What would you choose?

1: One week at Coronado/Riverside preferred room in late October 2013.
2: One week at Old Key West in the DVC 1-bedroom villa in the third week of August 2013.

We had been planning to go in late October, staying at a moderate. But an opportunity has come up whereby we could use a family members' timeshare points to stay at Old Key West. I've stayed at all the moderates, but never at Old Key West? Opinions? What matters to us are overall vibe/atmosphere, having a decent restaurant to grab a quick breakfast in the morning, and good bus service. Thanks everyone!

The upgrade in room to 1br Villa at OKW is not worth the major downgrade in weather you will experience by moving from late Oct to August.

Thanks. I've been in June and September and the heat didn't really bother me. Do you think late August would be much worse? I was also there in October last year (a few days before Hurricane Sandy) and it was cool enough that I was disappointed. I remember shivering at Blizzard Beach. I guess what I'm saying is that I'd rather deal with too hot than too cold.
