Thanks for the welcome! I am not a photographer, but I do work at a photo developing store, and I tend to scan photos and save them at the size I want them printed at 300dpi at least. (jpeg format). I also wouldn't recommed buying the frames for your pictures, either. Mainly because in a frame the photos will be exposed to light. I have a photo in a Splash Mountain frame that was taken in 1996... you can't even tell who's in the picture anymore. The photo is that bad. And just a word to people who print digital photos as well, any picture that can print out in a minute or two will not be a good print. Peopl at my store love to print out the instant digital photos- but it's not worth it. I think that the Fuji Frontier Printer is best for digital prints. Right now I know that they have the machines at Sam's, Wal-Mart, Wolf Camera, and Ritz Camera. These photos print out of the same machines that negatives will print from, and are much better quality.
