Online check in

I'm in the process of doing the online check in for my trip this week and have a few questions.

The room and tickets are booked on my boyfriend's credit card but I'd like any other charges to go to mine. If I enter in my info, it won't switch the larger charges to my card will it?

Also, how likely is it that an early check in would happen?

1. You should be able to enter in a different CC number for charges during online check in. If not, you can switch it at the front desk without issue.
2. We have found that the probability of our room being ready has gone up significantly since online check in became a thing. There are however a few things that can help/hurt. If you have numerous special requests, the chances of you getting in early is pretty slim. The chance also goes down if you have booked a particular room type (eg king room, royal room, preferred room, etc). You will also want to enter in an arrival time slightly earlier then you will arrive.
