Yes. They have your packet ready when you get there, so it speeds up the check in process. Additionally, you can go ahead and assign a credit card to your room for charges, and you can also place any last minute requests for the room (specific location, arrival details, etc.).
You still meet with a cast member at check it, but since most of the administrative items have already been done, it greatly speeds up the checkin process.

Yes definitely! Because you place an arrival time on your OLCI form, the front desk knows when you're coming and therefore can be prepared for your arrival. OLCI guests are generally put into a predetermined room first and therefore your likelyhood of getting a ready room is a lot higher. It also speeds up your check-in process because most of the traditional check-in steps are already finished.

If you are lucky, you will check in faster.
IME, that's was usually true at the Values, but much more of a toss-up in other hotels. I did about a dozen check-ins after they started that and did the math on what percentage, overall, the online was faster. Cant remember the number. It was over 60, but under 80%. My luck in choosing the faster line was worse, of course, lol. So my personal percentage on Faster Line was lower. Murphy's Law.
That is my limited experience with that.
