Besides the criticism of Epcot Forever It’s still my favorite kind of show. Unlike the current shows we have today this one runs off of music, pyro, real life props, lasers and lights but absolutely no imagery. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not so crazy about a whole new world being apart of the show. The nighttime shows we have now including The last Reflections of Earth could never carry on without imagery. Even Illuminations could carry on without its 2 minutes of lasers but even that wasn’t the imagery we see today. We need more shows like this, to me this is true creativity as simplistic as it is. This could be the last chance to ever see a nighttime show like this. My point is I think Disney really has to take a step back and go back to its nighttime show roots.
