... is Roy Disney, on Sunday evening at 6pm Central time, saying "Welcome to the once-again Wonderful World of Disney!" and then showing a Disney classic, like Snow White. Ahh, dreams. :D

Ahhh, Dreams.

I would like to see a Waitress come walking over to me with a Ruth Criss' Porterhouse, cooked Medium with a side of potato's. Served with a Dos Equiox and an ice water. Ooh, and maybe a bowl of Lobster Bisque. Followed up by a creme brulee.

Yea, that's what I would like to see.

That would be so nice instead of seeing Eisner making up some BS! Something needs to be done to get Roy back in there...but at the same time I don't know what it could be...

Well maybe when the savedisney campaign has finally led to the Comcast takeover, Brian Roberts will thank Roy by letting him do just that. :D

Unforuntately, I can see that being the end result of this mess.

I wonder if Diane Disney Miller will still get along with Roy if Comast suceeds? She blames him already for the takeover bid.

We have no way of knowing if Comcast would've made the offer even if Roy and Stanley hadn't spoken out. They could've just as easily made the offer right after Pixar broke off talks. Just a little devils' advocate. :goodnevil

If you consider 100 years worth of M&A/hostile takeover precedents, including the previous hostile takeover bid of Disney, as "no way of knowing" then i guess you're absolutely correct.

Had the savedisney campaign not begun, a bid on Disney would have been an April Fool's joke. Don't kid yourself, because you'll be even more dissapointed if/when this comes to fruition.

The savedisney campaign apparently isn't done with their callings for Eisner, Mitchell and most of the board to resign. Concurrently, Comcast isn't backing down on their original lowball offer. If the pressure is kept on, as many analysts estimate, this lowball offer may turn out to be enough to take Disney over.

Then we'll really need to "save disney."

Yeah. She's still very bitter about her husband being replaced with Eisner 20 years ago so that's a good portion of why she came out publicly against both Eisner and Roy. But the ugly state that Disney was in when her husband lost power makes the current state of Disney look like Utopia by comparison.

Her comments can't be seen with an objective lens.

That's true of course, but at least she is realistic in terms of how Eisner should be replaced and is very wary about Comcast.

I wonder what Ron Miller is up to nowadays?
