I have a coin and poster given to those who worked on Illuminations ROE, as well as a coin given to all opening day CM at the Studios. I also have the press kit given out about Disney's America.

For christmas, I bought my dad one of the "world Showcase" signs from mousesurplus.com. For one of the celebrations (when Roger Rabbit was big) there was a mardi gras themed parade, and roger rabbit gave me a commerative red coin.

Otherwise, just great memories.....

The special CM name badges from the WDW 25th anniversary around a decade ago, which changed the normal oval shape of the badge to contain a "25th" bump on the top.

Although that brings back memories of the Castle Pepto-Bismol! :hurl:

My dad is a CM and gave me a gold Happiest Celebration on Earth pin that was only handed out to CM's and never sold to the public.

Have a blue banner that hung in one of the parks and an Orlando newspaper from the day they announced Disney World (little worried about this item it's starting to fade and crack-darn lingnin!)

Not sure if Disney made it- but I have a tin "plate" that has the map of Florida with Orlando having the Fab 5 on it- it also showed Magic Kingdom and Epcot, but that was it- no MGM or Animal Kingdom.

My wife has her opening CM stuff from the studio, and together we own a chair from Hall of Presidents stage that was given to us by one of the original Magic Kingdom craftsmen.

I have a blue magical gatherings banner, a cast atlas showing the hidden passageways under the MK, and a map of Disney World during the the first year it opened.

The only thing that's really considered Disney History is the magical gatherings banner, but I'll get more later on! :D

I'm currently sitting on an Alien Encounter chair and have the matching harness sitting right next to me! I have a ton of other stuff with being a CM and all, but I like my chair and harness best.

I have tons of pins, and many other regular and original souvenirs, but the oldest and most historical Disney items that I own are two Disney Wonderful World Of Knowledge Year Books from 1979 and 1980. They're great books, and whenever I open the, I am automatically brought into WDW. So yeah, they're probably the most historical Disney items I own.

EDIT: OH! How could I forget? I forgot to mention that I have had Disney stock ever since I was born. So that's old, too, I guess.

I did see them being auctioned by Mouse Surplus !

I believe they said they were from the change over to Stitch, but they may have been extras. (?)

Back in September of 2002, we had a great CM who was a real life animator on the Animation Tour at MGM give us her autograph. We asked only for an autograph, but she also drew us a Mickey head profile. We quickly bought a frame for it and it's now on display in our Disney room. While some would argue that 2D animation is dead, I still believe in the art of it. We will always cherish that special bit of pixie dust. My heart breaks still for all those wonderful artists.
