One mans dream

It's a great exhibit and show. You walk through 2 different rooms before the movie with lots of different exhibits such as models of many rides, machines Walt used to film movies/animation, his Oscars, his office and other great things. Then you watch a very moving movie about the man himself. It is fantastic and I could spend hours in their looking at everything. You gotta see it.

hopefully they'll keep the attraction like they did with Tapestry of Nations after the millinium celebration. They only thing Disney would replace One Man's dream with would be a Meet and Greet. Like there aren't enough of those as it is.

even if they had to remove a lot of the artifacts, they could still have a tribute to Walt in there...I just want that movie at the end to stay...it was EXTREMELY well-done.

True, though the reality is many people won't spend their PARK time watching a documental, specially those who don't have the opportunity of going frequently and those who can't go much time, so many overlook this attraction. But from that point, to replace it, there's a big space...

I hate a feeling it will be around longer than the proposed year...mostly because it doesnt cost them much to keep it open, and it fills some empty space at MGM. Its not like they could use the space for anything BETTER, and it is definataly is an intrest factor for those who havnt seen it yet.

Well, a lot of the exhibit stuff is on loan so that remains to be seen... As for the area it occupies, at one time they used to update this with various things. I think the last time I went through it they had something there on the making of Evita. It was sort of cool to have something in the park that changed somewhat regularly like that... Although Disney got his start in animation and later moved into movies before getting into the theme park business, I think the movie (if they were to keep it) would be better suited for MK... I'm thinking it could probably be fit in the back of the exposition hall where they are currently running the Silly Symphonies cartoons (now available on DVD). It's not as big of a theater but I think that after the 100 year celebration winds down, so will the popularity of the movie. Somehow having a place on Main Street for Walt seems appropreate to me and they'd be able to seat at least 40 or fifty people at a time in this area that is seldom used for anything else... If they hadn't turned the cinema into another junk shop, it could probably have even been played in there but times change. What can you do? :)

The Main Street Cinema is probably the worst place in the Magic Kingdom. Now they sell toys and show coming attractons of Disney's wonderful sequels.
