One Man's Dream coming back doubled as Blue Sky Cellar?

Paul Chadkin has posted photos on his twitter of OMD construction walls. On the walls, it has photos of various Disney projects around the world. I think this is a great idea as long as it dosen't take away the integrity of OMD. Also, we can't lose the Tree of Life and TDS model!

A preview center would be great, in the vein of Blue Sky Cellar. Of course the name wouldn't make sense since there is no wine cellar there like at DCA ;)

Of course, however I do like the idea wine tasting before the movie or perhaps photopass location where you smoke a stogie like Uncle Walt.

I love One Man's Dream. I hope the film and soundtrack are spiffed up for its re-opening, and that the outside building gets some love too. It'd be great if it could have a castle motif, or statues or paintings of the greatest Disney characters on the outside of it. All it had last time I went was the sign and a bubble machine. And the soundtrack was scratchy!

With all of the concepts TDO's killed I'm surprised they have the nerve to install a Blue Sky Cellar of their own.

What would they even show? Great attractions coming to other resorts around the world and not actually to WDW.

Well, we have the Fantasyland expansion and Star Tours 2. And we know those won't be the last projects we see. We may end up with a new Soarin' and Monster's Inc. Coaster too. Not to mention all the stuff that never made it to the parks that deserve some attention. Lots they could do.

"Come in here and see stuff that you guys could be riding right now, but aren't"

Sounds about right.

I love the idea anyway.

I remember reading from Al Lutz that, either WDI or Lasseter (or both),opened DCA's BSC with the plan of eventually each resort housing a Blue Sky center.

As long as nothing of significance was sacrificed for it, then I'm all for OMD housing it. It does make more sense than anywhere else. Sort of comes full circle from 1972's Walt Disney Story with its preview center after the movie.

That would be great. :sohappy:

Is Journey Into Narnia also closed for rehab at this time? It would be great if they just expanded One Man's Dream into that area or put the Blue Sky Cellar there.

I wouldn't be surprised if they end up borrowing the stuff we first saw at the D23 Expo. At the Parks & Resorts pavilion they had the models for Cars Land, HKDL expansion, and much more.

I wouldn't object! :D Things to geek out at, even if they aren't for "my parks".

Thats what I'm thinking. Why would I want to see great new rides/attractions being built everywhere except WDW? Not saying that when new stuff is announced that they won't showcase it, but WDW is the closest disney resort to me, and those pics show projects going down at other resorts.
