one last question before my trip

Hi all, we leave in 57 days and driving for the first time from North Alabama. Can anyone tell a few nice places to stop i will be traveling with my four daughters 13,7,5,21 months. Also what do i budget for the toll roads, can anyone tell me how many and the price to get through. Thanks in advance

If you do a google search for "Florida Turnpike," there is a toll calculator.

If there are any Cracker Barrel restaurants, they are usually easy on/easy off the highway's and are clean with decent food.

Well, there's always Waffle House. They come in handy any time of the day or night...especially if you make way better time driving than you ever have before and arrive at 5:00 in the morning and the 2 year old traveling with you wakes up and won't go back to sleep because she's hungry, but I digress.

Are you going down to Mobile and then on I-10 East to I-75 or are you going over toward Atlanta and then down I-75?

Either way, it seems like the closer you get to FL, the more there are new clusters of fast food shops/gas stations/motels along the Intestate.
I would go by how new things look and just pick whatever sounds good.
