Raglan Roads " It's not bleedin ' chowder." My DW had this dish and I tried some,( just incase it was poisoned ) it was awesome..I like my shell fish more than my fish fish ( if you get my drift ) This dish was stacked with mussels,prawns,scallops,potatoes,white wine & cream..My favourite seafood dish is Seafood Gratin,lots of fresh fish like mussels,scallops,and topped with a creamy mash potato.

Pizza...you can put anything on it...the boys would probably have a good time adding the ingredients...could make a dessert pizza too...check out Via Napoli's menu for ideas...

Voodoo shrimp and cornbread at HOB is crazy good and should be easy to recreate...but the cornbread is a bit too sweet for me. Luckily, we live just down the road from a working gristmill and get freshly ground cornmeal from a 100 plus year old water driven stone and my wife makes the best cornbread ever. i just have to watch how much I eat or the whole pone would be gone.

It depends on how much you want to spend of course. My son would want a New England clam bake with chowder, steamers, lobster, corn on the cobb and strawberry shortcake for dessert. The boys might like a Yorkshire Country fish & chips dinner or some Columbia Harbour House fried shrimp or lobster roll more. Whatever you serve they'll love it, enjoy.

Hmmmmm Good Friday here is usually pizza and wine or tuna fish for me LOL, however, I love the fish n chips at Yorkshire County fish shop, the Kiss before Shrimp at Raglan Road or the lobster mac n cheese at Le Cellier

I am teaching my son to cook as well, he is at the point where he paraphrases Bill Parcells and says “If you want me to cook the dinner; you ought to at least let me shop for some of the groceries.”

My favorite meat free dish is the ice cream sandwich at Animal Kingdom.
I think you have given me a great idea for desert! The boys love to make cookies and home made ice cream!

Now that sounds good. My wife makes a very good watermelon cake that I can hardly wait for. She also excels at banana pudding made with cream cheese and vanilla pudding and Pepperidge Farms cookies. Now I'm getting hungry...maybe we should try those ice cream sandwiches.I think you have given me a great idea for desert! The boys love to make cookies and home made ice cream!

We were discussing Flying Fish crab cakes the other day... That could be an option, or you can take that same recipe and do fish cakes or shrimp cakes. I know I helped my dad with these when I was a kid.

Yep- crab cakes or clam chowda!
I won't eat it, but I live with carnivores! The church says fish doesn't count as meat.
