Once i have used up my original 3 FP+ -- selections at another park

Once i have used up my orginal 3 FP at a particular park. What is the best way to make other FP selections at a different park. Am i able to do it from my app? Do the kiosks in the parks allow you to select at a different park?

We are getting the hopper so we want to get the most of being able to hit 2 parks in one day.

You have to physically be in the 2nd park

Agree. You have to be in the same park to use a park's kiosk, whether to get extras after your first three FP+ in the originating park or after hopping to another park.
