On-site EMH....

Ok, the title might be a little misleading. I'm trying to find out what NON-Disney ON-site resorts get EMH. Is it just the S&D, or do some of the DtD hotels get it too?

I believe Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista gets them as well. They mention it on their site. I do know it is that very specific one though and not all Hiltons in the area.

edit: read their FAQ wrong. So you get Morning and Evening extra magic hours by showing room key card.

Does anyone know if you get EMH if you book a Disney resort through a third party such as Priceline? I'm 99.9% sure you do and I know it seems like a silly question, but I like to validate things as much as possible.

You do. I know sometimes Priceline or those sorts of sights will say you don't or will charge more for a room that says it does but I have never once been turned away during EMH for booking through a third party. All it says to be elligible is to be staying on Disney property.

Where and how you book is irrelevant to EMH. As long as you are guest on staying on property, you get the privilege. One thing I have learned over the years is that the morning EMHs tend to be something that can pack a park as all the resort guests take advantage of the time. We either pick another park and avoid the EMH park or get there 30 mins ahead of the opening and knock out as much as we can before the crowds show. Evening EMHs tend to be a better experience. A park may be open 2 or 3 hours later vs opening just 1 hour early. Just my thoughts on the matter. :)

During our recent trip in June I found the magic bands really cut down the late magic hour crowd. In the past you just flashed your room card and most CMs didn't check the date. On several occasions, I can remember people giggling that they had a card from a year ago and they were staying off property. Now that you have to scan your magic band to enter every ride for late magic hours the crowds in my opinion were not as heavy
