On-Line Application Process

A few weeks ago I applied for a position using Disney's on-line application process. I rec'd an automatic acknowledgement of my application by e-mail. Since then, I have been monitoring the progress of my application on line, but have been frustrated to find no progress. All of the spaces for "status", "required action", etc. are blank. There is no indication that anyone (a real person) has even seen my application. Does anyone know how this process works and how I might be sure to bring my application to the attention of the appropriate person?

It's very spotty how anything gets done through Disney's HR. I applied for a role once through the website because of an ad i saw in a paper and then again as a transfering CM.

They eventually contacted me, but the applications were two weeks apart, and they contacted me about the first application - and while talking to me on the phone saw my second application in a different "pile" (her word).

Eventually when i got interviewed they still had two folders on me. After getting hired into the role, many of the people who also got hired had friends/family who had applied as well. They said if you didn't answer the phone to come in for the interview, you weren't offered an interview even if they had called, left you a message, and you called back. They only took the people they got immediately on the phone and scheduled to interview.

So, things are a bit spotty from a professional standpoint, but dont be discouraged since only a short amount of time has passed.

Is this for the college program?

What other programs allow you to apply online? I guess if nothing else works..try calling Disney to fix it, or so they can look at it.
