I am so freaking excited I finally got a PIN offer. I've been visiting WDW since 2011 and this is my first one!! Looks similar to the one they sent my daughter in early 2013 with the free dining for the month of February or a room discount for March, April, May and then late August in to September. I have to go check some dates and resorts now but one way or another I am determined to use this offer. So HAPPY:joyfull::D:)

May I ask what the room discount is? There already is a general public discount for up to 30% off room rates and an extra day free upgraded ticket if u purchase 4 or more days?

Looks like a 35% discount on room stays, I have to compare it to the current offer and see what resorts are on it.
The free dining is only good for now til end of February for a 5d/4n stay so I won't be able to use that because I can't take the grandkids out of school anymore for Disney this year or they will arrest my daughter for truancyo_O

Lmao...schools these days are beyond rediculous with trying to pull s**t like that...I remember last year I got that pin code but we weren't able to use it, plus we already had a trip booked for that May. I did get another one shortly after our trip that was for fall free dining months before the general public one came out which we did end up booking and had a great trip in Nov!

Maybe they are hoping that by enforcing truancy rules, the next generation will be able to spell ridiculous. Or perhaps the best way to get our K-12 education system up to the level of, say, Haiti's would be to promote skipping school for vitally-important vacations to amusement parks run by mice.

Love that my autocorrect on my iPhone doesn't always correct my spelling...;)

I'm jealous. Disney has stopped sending me pin codes for whatever reason. :(

Well...I was never so thrilled to see that email...but it won't let me get into the offering...I called and I guess my profile is messy. I can use the offer but I can't view it myself playing with dates and comparing prices online.
I am still thrilled I final tapped whatever button triggers those pin codes but this is my first!

ahhhh....it's all about that daily attendance money. I have listened to the arguments about what material gets missed when the kids are not there and the hardship of catch up both on the teacher and the student for as long as I can remember . But when it comes right down to it, it's always the money.

Congrats in getting a PIN!

Is the offer valid to all resorts?

I wish I had a little luck coming my way this time around. A discount would be awesome and November seems to be a good time for them, but POFQ is always excluded from the public offer and I've decided we're not changing resorts just for a discount!

Not valid on the AoA Mermaid rooms or the new Villas at GF. The PIN code offer has all the date restrictions that of the new Spring offer it looks like.

I'm still happy I finally got one, but I don't see it is much more of a deal than what is available on the website at this point.

Daily attendance money? I'm not sure what you mean...

The schools get paid for the number of students in class present daily. That is why attendence cuts off at say 11 am rather than when the bell rings at 8 or 9. So that kids that are tardy or have an early dentist or doctor appt can arrive later and still be counted present in the daily attendance and the school gets paid.
Even with excused absence the school does not collect on that student for the day.

I've sat on our local school board for years. There are so many ways around truancy. Call them in sick, name it a family emergency. The language here says exempt if physically or mentally can't attend school or sick.

I as a board member pulled my kids out 2 weeks every year. My parents pulled my Sis and I out 6-8 weeks every spring. We/they were fine.

We need students to be in school 55% of the day to collect the daily state financing per student. It is an unwritten rule if a student is sick the nurse holds them (unless really over the top sick) until they hit 55% of the school day, so the school receives there funding for that student for that day. The real reason for attendance records.

If the student is out on vacation or sick, no state funding for that kid that day.

Mentally can't attend. Mental Health vacation, child is so stressed.

I got this too! I was wondering though, since it says save up to 35% does that mean its 35% for deluxe and then less for moderate? The small print just says additional fee for extra adults and what resorts/villas are excluded, but not a break down of discounts.

What's crazy is I need to retitle this OMG I just thought I got my first PIN code offering...cuz I hadn't been able to click on the link and then get into the offer by putting in code with my last name and zip...so I called the 407#.....
And guess what...it's not in my name..They decided to send it to MS Jayce Silvey who is actually Master Jayce Silvey in my profile and 7 years old.....

So a lady in guest relations messed with it for a while, then told me when and if I wanted to book on the dates available to call back and give her name and they would have to honor the PIN code for me in my name because it came to my email.....

So in reality I still have never received one of those coveted PIN codes:(
